It has been crazily, unseasonably warm here the past few days - it went up to 15 degrees! IN JANUARY! It has felt like March/April outside, and with all the spring polish collection announcements coming out lately, I've been dying to break out some pastels. And so, today I have China Glaze Peachy Keen to show you!

Peachy Keen is originally from China Glaze's acclaimed Up & Away collection, which was full of bright spring pastels. Peachy Keen is a difficult colour for me to describe. In the bottle it looks like a light peach pastel, but on me it definitely pulls darker and more orange. This is definitely a "peachy" orange though - it has that hint of dustiness and coral to it to stop it from looking like a ripe citrus.
This polish has a great formula. It's creamy, thick, and super easy to apply. I used two coats of polish and it covered perfectly.
While the orange and peach in this polish make Peachy Keen a bit more suitable for someone with a warmer skintone than me, I still really like this colour. As far as pastels go I'm more of a purple and blue girl myself, but this orange is a nice change from that! It certainly felt appropriate in these spring-winter days we've been experiencing lately.
Do you have any polishes from the Up & Away collection? How do you feel about spring colours in winter?

Yay I looooooooooove Peachy Keen! It's such a fun color to wear and work with. And 15 degrees is warm?! Are we talking Celcius here? I'm in South Carolina and we've had warm weather too, yesterday hit 80!
ReplyDeleteLOL Celcius! Ohh man if it was 15 degrees in Fahrenheit I would be permanently frozen I think, hahaha :D 80 in January?! That's so crazy!
DeleteWOW. I really need this now. This looks so squishy on you! LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Anna! :D
DeleteIt's been unseasonably warm here too, but really foggy and dark though... hard to take photos. Hmmm, I did not know Canadians cared about American football? Interesting. I'm totally ignorant about football, LOL! Love the polish, BTW!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's been like permanently cloudy here which makes photo taking so difficult :( LOL I'm glad you like the polish! NFL is pretty popular here, but since there are no home teams there's a pretty wide array of favourite teams, haha
DeleteThis is such a fun color! Screams summer!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's so perfect for summer!
DeleteThis looks great on you! Love it
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kelly! <3
DeleteThis is a really gorgeous peach!! Very vibrant!

ReplyDeleteIt's definitely one of my favourites too! So many pretty pastels!

ReplyDeleteHaha, me too! I don't have a lot but I love all the CGs I do have!
DeleteCongrats on your team winning! :D
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! Just looking at it makes me wish it is the summer. :)

Haha, thanks Yun! :) I know, it's so easy to look at this and wish it was warm outside!
DeleteThis is such a pretty colour :) I don't follow football in America but a team win is always a good day!
ReplyDeleteI think I need this colour, a nice peachy orange is so hard to find!
Thanks Julz! <3 You would love this colour if you owned it, I hope you can track it down!
DeleteYay Patriots!!! Woohoo!! LOL are you ready for next weeks game? I'm not -_- hah! Gorgeous color! I'm surprised at how much darker it is on your nail compared to in the bottle. I think I like it better darker tho :) Beautiful swatches girl!! :D
ReplyDeleteNoooo I'm SO nervous for the game tomorrow!! :/ We need to win! You should do your Patriots nails again for tomorrow since they were good luck last week, LOL! :)
DeleteNot my usual nail color but I love it! I am wanting to try it out. I find it pretty and classy.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you like it, Emy! :)
DeleteWow this colour is beautiful :) So bright and eye catching! xxxx
ReplyDeleteIt's much brighter than I expected it to be, I love it! :D Glad you like it too!

ReplyDeleteThis is a sign that you should go back for it! No polish left behind! :D
